Helpline Opening Hours and Alternative Support
gamAid is run entirely by volunteers who give their time freely when not at their everyday place of work. It is for this reason that we can not set times for the helpline to be open at this moment in time especially as gamAid is not funded. We will open the helpline as often as is possible. If it is not open there are alternative means of accessing help and support. You can email gamAid at counsellors@gamaid.com you can post on the forum www.gamaid.com/forum to receive support from others in similar situations to yourself or you can contact GamCare on 0845 6000 133 |

This is the section for anyone affected by someone's gambling to tell gamAid and all of the members about you. Write as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. It can be therapeutic to write down your thoughts and feelings. Try and keep the focus on yourself as this is all about you and taking care of yourself.

Moonlight, Here To Answer Your Questions
Moonlight is here to answer any questions you may have about problem gambling. Her own gambling caused her own family and friends a lot of pain over the years.
She is now working on her own recovery and has been gambling free for several years. Part of her recovery is to help others who are affected by someones's gambling
